COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES

Sponsorship Committee This committee is responsible for developing, approaching, and getting both sustaining sponsors and Special Event sponsors for HCWIB. In addition, maintaining relationships with existing sponsors throughout the year.

Hospitality Committee - This committee is the initial greeting team for all members and guests! You will field any issues that may arise to ensure each attendee a smooth check-in so they can maximize networking time. You will also escort attendees to the registration table, introduce guests to other members, and staff special events.

Membership CommitteeThis committee is responsible for calling guests, encouraging membership, explaining benefits, and mentoring new members and guests. This committee is usually one of the first people a new member or guest encounters when visiting for the first time.

Programs CommitteeThis committee prepares and oversees the calendar of events for HCWIB, with providing keynote speakers as well as fun networking games. Whether it’s education, sharing information, helping to build relationships, or helping to develop business opportunities, showcasing the right topics at meetings and events is their mission.

Philanthropy Committee - This committee creates opportunities for members of HCWIB to give back to the community. Working with causes that the committee selects by donating time, talent, or money. Some examples include organizing, setting up, and assisting women in a clothing drive for underprivileged women who are job seekers or donating food, clothing, or money in lieu of doing actual work. Our goal is to largely help women and children within the community with solutions to make a difference while bringing HCWIB members together in fun and service.

Goodwill Ambassador The Goodwill Ambassador promotes values, high standards, and ethical conduct among members of HCWIB and in the community.  She is responsible for conveying relief through various modes of communication and actions, and for the implementation of benevolence and compassion between parties.

Technology Committee - This committee is in charge of all social media accounts for HCWIB as well as maintaining the website and keeping it up to date. You will create vibrant and engaging posts for both members and guests on the private and public social media platforms. You will also occasionally assist in any other media needs.
